Camille Leblanc-Bazinet’s Nutrition Challenge, Buttery Bros Giveaway, CrossFit Open, and More

Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, with a decade of experience as a CrossFit competitor, has launched a 90-day nutrition challenge on her Féroce Fitness platform. The challenge, broken down into three phases, starts with food quality and macronutrients, followed by food quantity, then food timing in the third phase. The challenge starts on September 9th and will be available in English, French, and will soon be available in Spanish. Camille has gathered $5000 in prizes and is offering five ambassador spots to challenge winners.

Leblanc-Bazinet’s website, ferocefitness.com, was launched in July and focuses on building a healthy lifestyle for all people, regardless of gym, equipment, free time, and fitness level. Her programs include daily workout programming. Oh, and they have some pretty epic gear, too. You can find out more at ferocefitness.com. We’ve joined the challenge – you should too.

Marston Sawyers of the Buttery Bros announced on Instagram that he and Heber Cannon are giving away a weekend trip to workout with them during the CrossFit Open. Winner will receive travel and accommodations for you and a friend to do an Open Workout with the Buttery Bros. We have the link in our show notes, or you can find the post @marzmedia on Instagram, that’s “Marz” with a “z”.

CrossFit Open registration is only two days away. The 2020 CrossFit Open starts with a 20.1 workout announcement on Thursday, October 10th. They’ve replaced their save-the-date page on open.crossfit.com with a sign-up button, but won’t let you register until the 10th.

Morning Chalk Up is reporting the CrossFit Games live streams totaled over 11.6 million viewers over the four days of competition. 23 media providers hosted free streams of the CrossFit Games and in 11 total languages. Next to English, the two most popular languages were Spanish and Portuguese. One thing do discount is that the multiple streams means there are probably a significant number of duplicates, where people live streaming the CrossFit Games took a peek at multiple streams. Visit Morning Chalk Up for the full article, we have the link in our show notes.

And that’s it for news about CrossFit on Wednesday, August 28th.
