So, you’re looking to watch the Reykjavik CrossFit Championship live stream. But, as is common in this era of the sport, you can’t find any information on it. You’re not alone.

Update May 3 – We have confirmed, the Reykjavik CrossFit Championship will be live streaming from their Facebook page. While the stream was supposed to start at 8AM Eastern, it does not appear to be live yet. The most recent post on the page notes stream quality will be worse during the Mt Esjan running event today. We cannot confirm if that event has cause technical difficulties with the early stream. The event will return to Laugardalsholl Arena at 1700 GMT (12 PM Eastern) and should have better quality.

The championship, slated for May 3-5, joins fourteen other Sanctional events this year. The bad trait they all have in common: zero details about a live stream. This Icelandic event is no exception. Many fake Facebook stream pages exist, but no details are available about how to watch.

If a victor is crowned at Laugardalsholl Arena and you can’t watch it, did it really happen?

Yes, unfortunately.

Here’s what we can tell you. Most of these Sanctional events do manage to put on a live stream. While the quality varies, they still manage to pull it off.
