I missed having you in my life. There was no episode on Friday because I was doing some early-morning broadcasting work for the Filthy150 live stream. It was an awesome start to the Sanctional season, which saw the first team qualify for the Games, ROMWOD Meadsquad.  There was undeniable dominance from Sara Sigmundsdottir and Krisitn Holte. We also watched the rise of two young stars Justin Medeiros and Andrea Solberg. If you want to go back and watch the action, you can find live streams from WODDITY, Morning Chalk Up, Filthy150, and on the CrossFit Games YouTube channels.

The other reason I’m so hyped this morning is because I have a special guest today! Last week we had an episode go viral, talking about CrossFit’s not-so-becoming cameos on the hit show This is Us. As a barren male, I wanted to give y’all a second opinion and my immediate thought was to reach out to Jessica Danger. Danger is the Managing Editor at Morning Chalk Up, the co-host of their Fresh Cup of Fitness podcast, and a mom to what I’ve heard are three pretty epic kiddos. She’s the perfect person to weigh in on CrossFit’s This is Us problem, because she’s the busiest person I know, but is somehow managing the be an incredible writer and even better mom while still pursuing fitness.

So, we’ll be back with general CrossFit news tomorrow for things like Mat Fraser’s RIDICULOUS full-chest tattoo. And when I say “ridiculous” I say it in all-caps. Just check the transcript at Its…I’m sad to say have all have to look at it now. *sigh*

Anyway, without further ado, we’re super proud and excited to be able to share the thoughts of Jessica Danger. Be sure to check out her podcast, Fresh Cup of Fitness, and all the work she does as a writer and managing editor over at They get you a 5-7 minute read newsletter on community and competition news, Monday through Saturday.
