CrossFit Mayhem has announced the addition of a new team to their roster. Mayhem, owned by four-time CrossFit champion Rich Froning, fielded two teams in 2018. Joining their roster in 2019 will be CrossFit Mayhem Europe.
Who is on CrossFit Mayhem Europe?
According to an Instagram post from Kristof Horvath, he’s joined by his sister, Laura Horvath. Their team will include Gabriela Migala and Daniel “Axel” Lundgren. Laura Horvath placed second in her rookie year as an individual in the 2019 CrossFit Games.
Two of these team members already have invites tot he 2019 CrossFit Games. Laura Horvath placed 41st in the worldwide open, and is the fittest woman in Hungary. Gabriela Migala placed 34th and is the fittest in Poland.
The Rise of CrossFit Super Teams
Changes in the 2019 CrossFit Games rule book have allowed for the potential of ‘super teams’. CrossFit Mayhem Freedom announced last week they’re adding six-time Games athlete Chyna Cho.
Other notable super-teams include:
- CrossFit Invictus X, with Lauren Fisher, Reagan Huckaby, Tommy Vinas, and Rasmus Anderson.
- Team ROMWOD/WIT, with Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, Jessica Griffith, Cody Mooney, and Alec Smith.
- Project X, with Jess Coughlan, Brandon Swan, Khan Porter, and Harriet Roberts.
