Atlantic CrossFit Regionals
The Atlantic Region centered around the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The Atlantic CrossFit Regional was home to many popular athletes. Regional athletes included Noah Ohlsen, Ben Smith, and Alec Smith.

Wodapalooza
The Wodapalooza CrossFit Festival is a natural choice for the Atlantic. It fills the void created in the southeast by the demise of Regionals in 2019. This four-day event runs at Bayfront Park in Miami. In 2018, it featured almost 1,600 athletes, 30,000 spectators, and 450 volunteers.
Its first year as a Sanctional was a banner year for the event. Headline athletes included Noah Ohlsen, Saxon Panchik, Kari Pearce, and Sara Sigmundsdottir. Patrick Vellner and Tia-Clair Toomey took home the prize as individuals. Team ROMWOD/WIT beat out Rich Froning’s CrossFit Mayhem Freedom team to earn their ticket to the Games.

South and West CrossFit Regionals
The areas serviced by the former South and West CrossFit Regionals don’t get any love this year.
Hosted at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, the South Regional was a sight to see. Athletes included Margaux Alvarex, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, Tennil Beuerlein, and Bethany Shadburne.
The West Regional, hosted at the Del Mar Arena in Del Mar, California, was also an epic event. Athletes traveled from as far north as Alaska. Featured athletes were Brent Fikowski, Cole Sager, Josh Bridges, Emily Abbott, and Chyna Cho.
Two Sanctional events will join the ranks for the 2020 season:

Also known as the “WCC”, this is planned by Wodapalooza’s Loud & Live Sports. The West Coast Classic will bring professional CrossFit back to California. Slated for March 2020 in San Diego, it’s likely this event will rival Wodapalooza in size and scope.
